About me

After a decade in digital and social media leadership roles, I moved from journalism to strategic communications and change management. There are many similarities between the paths. Both require asking good questions, digging into information, writing clearly, navigating ambiguity, managing complex projects and reaching the hearts and minds of stakeholders.

As I helped news organizations navigate change, I saw the importance of aligning systems, building data-guided process and developing clear and engaging training. I’m especially passionate about using technology to effectively and creatively communicate strategy, growing diverse and engaged cultures and guiding organizations through collaborative learning.

I’m currently consulting and working towards a Master’s in Learning & Organizational Change at Northwestern University. My research focuses on how leaders can use storytelling techniques to guide organizational change.
